LET’S PAINT WITH ENAMEL
This course teaches how to paint with finely ground enamels—specifically Sunshine Enamels—using a brush to create detailed, painterly designs on enamel surfaces.
You’ll learn about suitable painting mediums, create a test plate, and practice techniques like fading, blending, shading, and layering to build depth and dimension. Bonus lessons cover sifting a vitreous enamel base, applying Shauer 64 as a ground, and proper cleanup. Basic color theory and composition are also introduced.
Students should already know how to use a kiln and sift base enamel layers. A kiln is required. (Torch firing is possible but not covered.) This is a pre-recorded, self-paced course with lifetime access as long as the website is available
