Description
A yellow blossom floating in the sky illustrates the exuberance of spring. Fine silver wires shape the flower and leaves while carefully layered enamel builds a vibrant sky as a backdrop.
The enamel panel is set in sterling silver with a peek-a-boo hole that shows the back of the enamel which houses a small enameled flower.
Designed with a hidden bail to keep the pendant from accidentally flipping around during the movement of everyday life.
Materials: Vitreous enamel, fine silver, sterling silver
Size: .75″ wide x 1″ tall
Available on a 16″ sterling silver chain (with a 2″ extender if needed).
Cloisonné is a technique in which fine silver or gold wires are applied to the metal surface to form small cells that are then filled with layers of enamel (ground glass). Each piece is fired repeatedly — often fifteen or more times — allowing color, depth, and surface to develop.
