Description
Bright vibrant poppies can be symbolic of hope, sacrifice, and renewal. They are often known as a symbol of resilience and the enduring spirit of humanity. Vibrant red represents intensity while yellow represents intelligence. The aqua background creates a resting place for all of the intensity.
The enamel panel is set in sterling silver with a peek-a-boo hole that shows the back of the enamel which houses a bouquet of flowers.
A decorative bail completes the piece.

Cloisonné is a technique in which fine silver or gold wires are applied to the metal surface to form small cells that are then filled with layers of enamel (ground glass). Each piece is fired repeatedly — often fifteen or more times — allowing color, depth, and surface to develop.
