The representation of the divine feminine. The gold representing light as she emerges from the shadows. The divine mother is shown in the swirl of her abdomen.
The opalescent enamel allows her to be seen clearly yet subtly disappear and change color. Her shape is sculpted in the enamel allowing for a tactile experience as one rubs their fingers along the surface. (I often use my jewelry as touchstones to ground myself).
